Romney on Foreign Policy

Haven’t had time to digest this yet, but on intial glance this looks to be pretty “meaty.” We would expect nothing less from the candidate who is laying out more ideas/proposals/policy plans on the table than anyone else in the field.
Rising to a New Generation of Global Challenges
Summary: Washington is as divided on foreign policy as it has been at any point in the last 50 years. As the “greatest generation” did before us, we must move beyond political camps to unite around bold actions in order to build a strong America and a safer world. We must strengthen our military and economy, achieve energy independence, reenergize civilian and interagency capabilities, and revitalize our alliances.

wow, i just read mitt’s essay in ‘foreign affairs’ and it was pretty amazing. he has such a complete, round understanding of the issues! no other candidate that i’m aware of has that kind of understanding, much less PLAN for what to do to promote peace throughout the world. way to go mitt!

What the country and the world needs is competent leadership. What we see here is the blueprint for precisely that. I am convinced that every breathing, thinking, American who reads this essay will vote for its author so that he can provide that leadership.

This is the best articulated vision for addressing some of the most difficult challenges we face that I have heard.
