Your probably right, but it is hard to say you are wrong... Maybe I'm being stubborn...

I don't mean to attack him... I should have just criticized the part I disagreed with...

thanks for talking with me... I don't know when I am wrong, unless someone calls me on it...

Look, I am a big Mitt fan too, but I think you're taking this Kass column way too far. If you read him often enough, you know it was tongue and cheek. That is his humor, bottom line. He was not trying to slam Romney. Nothing inside journalist about John Kass.

Look, I was not reviewing everything John Kass has ever written. In this article, he said Romney had a Boston accent, and pronounced Varmint, like vohmit. Romney does not have an accent of any-kind...

Lindsay, lets stay on the subject. He said;

"A while ago, while trying to evolve from Eastern liberal Republican to rabid conservative presidential candidate, he put on a big show about being a hunter to endear himself to gun owners. Sadly, he didn't have much of a record in applying for hunting licenses."

"Rather than be accused of embellishing like Al Gore, Romney explained that he didn't need a hunting license to hunt "varmints." But being from Massachusetts, Romney's "varmints" sounded more like "vah-mits," which sounds sickening."

Mitt Romney was never a "Eastern liberal Republican" or a "rabid conservative". John Kass is part of the inside echo-chamber club, that mindlessly repeats what the New York times says without thinking about it...

Romney did not need a hunting license to shoot jack-rabbits, or badgers, rock-chucks, or other varmits...

Instead of apologizing for making a big deal over calling Mitt Romney a liar, when they found out he never had a hunting license, and when Romney explained you don't need a hunting license, to hunt varments... instead of apologizing, they made fun of him for using the word varmint. I think people like that, that are fast and loose with the facts, and twist and mis-construe the facts, I think people that play "got-cha" journalism are jack-asses... I made a point, I made an logical argument. You made no point. You just called names. You said I was a jock arse, for criticizing a conservative. Conservative or not, I think John Kass is playing the good old boy, insider, gotcha journalism, that I hate...

You, sir, are the Jock Ars. You obviously have never read John kass before a google search revealed that he said something about Mitt. John Kass is a fabulous columnist, a great voice for conservatism in Chicago, a courageous voice against corruption. Wise up.

No, it seems that Kass really IS an idiot as far as journalism goes, and this piece really sticks it to him. I rather enjoyed being privvy to the enthusiastic whipping he got.

So emotional! Do you become so passionate about all Trib columnists who say things you don't agree with?

I have to respectfully disagree. John Kass isn't an idiot. His use of the word "pesky" is sarcastic and he's CLEARLY not pro-Hillary. I obviously don't his tongue-in-cheek poke at the governer, but he certainly has been a good conservative voice in this liberal vacuum of Chicago.

So instead of acting like a kid who just got made fun of by the junior high bully, let's just say to John Kass that we've had enough with the varmint business and it's time to move onto a new punchline.

You are a complete idiot. Fred Thompson specifically plays a Republican lawyers on Law & Order.

Look, you're not a complete idiot. But it's a little annoying for you to call other people idiots when you have your facts wrong.

John Kass reminds me of Mark Twain's line...."Times were hard and being unable to find honest work, I became a journalist."

Hillary Clinton is a continuing embarrassment to America. Any country that could elect her as Commander-in-chief forfeits it's privilege to lead the free world. No matter what else happens, we MUST ensure that this woman does not stand in front of the U.S. capitol with her left hand on a bible and her right hand held up.

If Hillary were to become president, it wouldn't matter what accent she spoke, the Middle East would eat her alive. They haven't come out of the dark ages yet to give their own women due respect, let alone a Western female president. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against women, I am one. But I am also realistic about the dangers in putting a female in the White House to try to influence a world that mostly hates us and disrespects women in general. Now is not the time to head the super power nation of the world with a woman. Some day, but not now.
