I knew it was a joke because there was no other news like it anywhere in the Net. We simply need to remember not to take ourselves so seriously all the time and realize that as human beings, it is possible to have fun in the political process. If GMR is ultimately nominated as the GOP candidate and eventually elected president of the United States, "polygamy" will come up 10,000 more times whether we like it or not. He will need to joke about it at times simply to deflect the irrelevant question. We can choose to get upset or we can choose to find some humor along the way. I choose to find the humor. I don't think Borowitz was being mean or demeaning or finding fault. I think he too chose to find humor along the way. I knew it was a joke when I decided to post this article.
