FRIDAY HUMOR?
Today is a slow news day I think. Or maybe just a boring news day?
At a press conference in New York, Ms. Nathan appeared before the media with Mr. Giuliani by her side as she revealed her marriage to the former Massachusetts governor.
“In addition to being married to Rudy, I am also married to Mitt,” she told the press, “I guess I kind of forgot.”
While recognizing that her disclosure could complicate Mr. Giuliani’s bid for the G.O.P. nomination, she added, “I truly appreciate the love and support of my husband – and of my other husband, too.”

It’s probably an early April fool’s joke and wanted to get it in before the weekend. That or his column is just a joke all of the time. I didn’t care enough to check.

I don’t get it either. What’s up? Did she have one to many to drink, or what? Let me know…….

I don’t either. This is purely a guess on my part but this may be an April Fool’s joke or it may simply be a little public “poking fun” both at GMR and at herself. Again, I don’t know, but I am guessing that since Giuliani did some serious campaigning for GMR when he ran for governor that they are good friends and they are just having some fun with this.

Andy Borowitz is a well-known humor columnist. Think Dave Barry. The whole article is made up. No need to take it seriously.

It’s a joke people, relax. A very bad joke too.

I knew it was a joke when I decided to post this article. I knew it was a joke because there was no other news like it anywhere in the Net. We simply need to remember not to take ourselves so seriously all the time and realize that as human beings, it is possible to have fun in the political process.
If GMR is ultimately nominated as the GOP candidate and eventually elected president of the United States, “polygamy” will come up 10,000 more times whether we like it or not. He will need to joke about it at times simply to deflect the irrelevant question.
We can choose to get upset or we can choose to find some humor along the way. I choose to find the humor. I don’t think Borowitz was being mean or demeaning or finding fault. I think he too chose to find humor along the way.
