The Very Model Of A Modern Major General? - Major News About This Blog!
http://hotlineblog.nation…very_model.html
This “Hotline on Call” blog entry talks about the Alexa rankings of the major Campaign sites.
I’ll highlight a portion of it here:
In lieu of last week’s YearlyKos netroots buzzfest, it might be useful to see which candidates actually get the most traffic on their Web sites. According to data from an Alexa.com, on which users can track and compare web site traffic, Clark and Kerry come out on top in the last three months out of all the potential ‘08 presidential candidates:
Site — Internet Ranking
Clark’s WesPAC — 71,158
JohnKerry.com — 76,436
Edwards’ OneAmericaCommittee.com — 211,756
Gingrich’s Newt.org — 229,197
blog.electromneyin2008.com — 238,200
HillaryClinton.com (re-election site) — 253,280
Frist’s VolPAC — 255,254
Emphasis above is that of Ann Marie Curling.
This site that you are reading is the #5 ranked political site of all. It’s still the #1 “non-official site”.
Finally, Romney’s own Commonwealth PAC was so low that it didn’t even make Alexa’s rankings. This is in part because the PAC only recently launched, so take a look at the most popular draft site on the internet according to Alexa. It gets more traffic than any other Republican site except for Newt.org. We’ll have to check back in a few months to see how his Commonwealth PAC is doing, especially in comparison to the unofficial Draft Romney site.
I’m absolutely flattered at all the traffic that all of you bring to the site over and over again. I do wish the Commonwealth PAC well though. And hopefully soon they will be ranked by Alexa.
