Romney only top pol in Rome

The Bay State’s top Catholic politicians won’t be at Archbishop Sean P. O’Malley’s elevation to cardinal Friday at the Vatican. But Gov. Mitt Romney, a Mormon, will attend.
The move gives Romney, who continues to woo support for a 2008 presidential bid, a chance to further his ties to Catholics, evangelical Protestants and other conservative Christians.

What an honor! I have a lot respect for Pope Benedict. He’s doing the best he can to help the world change its ways, morally. It will be neat to hear what they talked about.

Wow, what an honor, this is great being that Romney is an LDS, this should be great even though this trip was not meant to be political in any ways, but rather this should still be positive if Romney runs for president, he should win the support of the Pope and eventually the catholics and others conservation riligious groups
