Democrats digging dirt early on Romney

December 30th, 2005 Posted in Analysis, Commentary, and Editorials, News Articles

Why lookie what we have here. The Democrats are already starting to dig dirt on Mitt Romney. Amazing seeing we’re so far out, this really shows something. They are already fearful of a Romney candidacy. Good work DNC.

You can read all the juicy details HERE at The Boston Globe .

Author’s Addition:
One main thing that I left out of this, that most certainly should have been included is the fact that the DNC is actually asking the state of Mass to waive the fees for this exercise. And the costs are going to be in the tens of thousands of dollars. I say, go ahead and let them have the information but they can pay for it themselves.

I think Mr. Romney’s office should bill the DNC for the records. I have confidence that the Romney campaign will be mature about his corporate and political record. I think it will be easier to defend him than any other candidate for the presidency.

I am in total agreement with you Enochville. I also don’t have a problem with them getting whatever records they want, Mr. Romney has nothing to hide.

  3. Peter Porcupine Says:

I have an even BETTER idea!

The RNC saw no reason for requesting all of John Kerry’s records during the 2004 race, perhaps because they prefer to run on issues of the future instead of rooting like pigs for truffles of scandal in old wads of paper.

But since Kerry is a contender for 2008, let’s get those records now! The correspondence and papers pertaining to his time as Dukakis’ Lt. Governor should be especially amusing!
